Ver 26.02 (Desktop)
Released: 07/09/2026
Enhancements
Going forward, a version number is assigned for each minor upgrade, such as 26.02 and 26.03. Minor versions are for tracking only, making it easier to see if a customer is on the latest version. The only upgrade path is to the latest minor version. (Same as it is now.)
The application user interface was upgraded to a Windows 11 look and feel with the following options (See Main Menu > Help > Layout):
- Light - Regular
- Light - Compact (Default)
- Dark - Regular
- Dark - Compact
Customer Contacts - Edit View – The Status column was changed from an Active checkbox to a lookup combo box, similar to the one in the list view.
Attachments – Signature was added to the Type lookup.
Delivery Notes – Attachments functionality was added. (In preparation for Delivery App).
Customer Invoices – The Data Pipeline CI_Linked_Del was modified to work as follows:
- If the CI was created from a DN – only the linked DN appears.
- If the CI was created from a SO – all the DNs linked to the SO appear (which is how it worked previously).
Purchase Orders – A User filter was added to enable the following User Access options (Previously it was y/n):
- None
- All
- Own (User) – You can only view/edit Purchase Orders that you created.
NCR – You can now add Attachments to an email, if the email body contains an [ATTACHMENTS] tag.
The following General Settings were added to prevent database bloat: (Note: The delete function is executed when users log in to the application.)
- Quotations > Delete Quotations (PDF Docs) older than (Enter number of months) – Default = 6 months
- Work Orders > Delete Worktickets (PDF Docs) older than (Enter number of months) – Default = 6 months
Documentation - Reminder – My Organization > Staff > You can use the Desktop column to check which staff members were assigned an application password. (Effectively the Desktop App Users).
Quotations – A User Access setting was added for the Copy Rule to copy a Quotation to a new Quotation. (Default = Allow).
Cost of Sales Enhancements
Items View > An option was added to the Data Filter to view Estimated vs Actual by Qty or by Value (Previously you could only view it by Qty).
Items View – Several redundant columns were removed from the Summary band.
Inventory Enhancements
The Stock Check Status was moved from the Count records to the Header record.
When a Stock Check is updated, the header status is now set back to Pending.
The naming convention used in Stock Checks was standardised to:
- Est Qty – The expected quantity from the application
- Act Qty – The counted quantity
- Var Qty – Act Qty - Est Qty
An opening Stock Check is no longer required – the upgrade script deletes all the opening Stock Checks.
Item Summary > The Stock Check Status was added to the Inventory > checks grid view.
Inventory > Detailed Ledger – The somewhat confusing Active filter was removed.
Documentation > Reminder 1: When a Stock Check is created, a Header record (Table STOCKCHECK) is created with child Count records (Table STOCKCHECKCOUNT) for each unit that can be counted in a Stock Check. The Count records are converted and summed to the Header record.
Documentation > Reminder 2: Pending Stock Checks are not counted.
Product Estimating Enhancements - Labels
Setup Waste and Run Waste can be assigned to Printing related services in the Product Estimate Setup and in the Estimate.
The Setup Waste is now assigned as follows:
- Printing – Added once
- Colour Changes – Added once for each colour change
- Plate Changes – Added once for each plate change
The Run Waste (%) is now assigned as follows:
- Printing – Added once
- Colour Changes – Added once – if the number of changes > 0
- Plate Changes – Added once – if the number of changes > 0
Product Estimating Enhancements - Cartons
A new type Sheets was added and it works as follows:
- Calculation is identical to the Die Cut type.
- The Style and Box Size fields are hidden.
Fixes
Fixed: When a Delivery Note was copied to an Invoice, the updated Description on the DN was not copied to the CI.
Fixed: When a Quotation was copied to a Sales Order, the Username was not assigned in the Changelog.
Fixed: Staff Summary – The Date filter on the Productivity tag was not working correctly.
Fixed: The Work Order No and Quotation No used a thousand separator which made it difficult to use the column header filter.
Fixed: Ink Groups – You could select Printing Types that were not set to use 'Ink Groups'.
Fixed: Printing Types – You could select invalid Run Type and Ink combinations when you created a new Printing Type (The trigger to prevent this only executed once you changed the selection).
Fixed: The Direct Cost indicator on Quotations and Sales Orders was not calculating correctly. (Fixed going forward only – existing transactions are not updated.)
Transactions – When you update the From transaction, you are now warned that downstream transactions are no longer linked to the selected Transaction.
