Other Information
Info
This information comes from the earlier Transaction Edit Views and Transaction List Views pages, which the pages of each transaction replace.
Edit Screens
- Save also recalculates the fields when changes were made.
- Update the From Transaction asks you to confirm: click Yes to continue.
- Some transactions have a Specification field (enter a specification) and an Other field (enter a note) in the header, in the place of Reference & Note. The list views can show them as Specification and Other columns.
- On the line items, Menu (...) options that are unavailable are greyed out: the transaction is in a read-only status, or the option does not apply to that line.
- Fixed Cost and Fixed Price do not change when the quantity changes.
- On a line, the supplier is the supplier the cost price comes from.
- Create New Material creates a material from the line.
- Find Invoice No... opens a box in which you enter the number of the invoice to open.
- View Detailed Ledger opens the customer's ledger account.
- View linked Transactions shows the same transactions as the Links button, with more details.
- View Audits shows the tracked changes made to the transaction (see Audits).
List Screens
- The Menu (...) column is listed as Actions in the Field Chooser (*).
- Edit opens the transaction. Whether you can change it depends on your access and on the transaction's status.
- Email Excel attaches the grid, in .xlsx format, to an email. Export Grid saves the grid as an .xlsx file in a folder you select.
- Ageing is the number of days since the transaction was created.
- The Attachments column shows a paperclip when there are attachments.
- In Batch Update, the Due Date and Req Date options change the date and time selected on the calendar and time chooser. In the Items view, Account changes the contra-account, and VAT changes the VAT Type, the Inc or Exc option and the percentage.
